Had the privilege of attending the Special Olympics awards night, the team at SO named an award after Joseph and so proud to go and present it this years winner was Jordan Morris pure legend, it was also a pleasure to meet Alan Shearer who was pure class giving out the main awards then staying to sign autographs and get pictures for everyone who wanted one, believe me the queue was big. It is amazing to see how far the athletes have improved over the last few years both physically and socially, SO Gateshead have the most amazing coaches and leaders with a team of athletes who look out for and support each other it’s just a Beautiful thing to be associated with.
